Project Description
This 7-day training course aims to enhance media literacy skills among youth workers, promoting responsible usage and creation of media content to combat disinformation and foster inclusivity. Expect engaging activities led by media professionals in a nurturing environment.
Objectives
- The course aims to develop a robust understanding of media literacy principles and practices, enhancing critical thinking and evaluation of sources.
- Participants will be equipped to identify and combat misinformation, promoting responsible media consumption and digital citizenship.
- We aim to empower youth leaders with knowledge and tools to create engaging, responsible media content, fostering inclusivity and combating discrimination.
Participant profile
- Participants must be 18 years or older and residents of Italy, Austria, Ireland, Greece, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, or Spain.
- They should be open-minded and committed to engaging in media literacy issues, demonstrating respect for diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Participants should be motivated to share their new knowledge within local communities through workshops or gatherings after the project.
Costs Covered
100% of accommodation and meals are covered. Travel costs are reimbursed up to €275 for participants from certain countries and €360 from others, following specific requirements for documentation and timing.
