Project Description
The Erasmus + Youth Exchange on Ending Prejudice Against Minorities aims to foster inclusivity and challenge stereotypes. Participants will engage in workshops, discussions, and cultural exchanges aimed at understanding and combating prejudice while advocating for minority rights.
Objectives
- Raise Awareness about Prejudice: Educate about the various forms of prejudice and discrimination faced by minorities and the consequences these have on individuals and communities.
- Promote Social Inclusion: Encourage understanding and empathy among participants, equipping them with the tools to promote social inclusion and respect for diversity in their communities.
- Develop Advocacy Skills: Provide youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to advocate for the rights of minorities and challenge discriminatory practices.
- Empower Youth Leadership: Inspire and empower young people to take leadership roles in their communities by initiating projects and campaigns that promote equality and combat prejudice.
- Create Lasting Impact: Participants return to their communities with actionable plans and a strong network of like-minded individuals to continue the fight against prejudice and discrimination.
Participant profile
- Youth aged 18-30 from Latvia, who are living, studying, or working in Latvia.
- Individuals passionate about promoting social justice and equality.
Costs Covered
Travel reimbursement of up to 309 EUR, with accommodation and meals fully covered for all participants during the exchange.
